Campaign for defibrillators in schools…

There are an estimated 270 cardiac arrests in UK schools each year

Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die from Sudden Cardiac Arrest caused by often undiagnosed heart conditions.

For every minute that goes by without defibrillation, a cardiac arrest victim’s chances of survival decrease by about 10 percent.

Sam and his family started the All Heart Campaign raising awareness of the need for defibrillators and life saving skills in schools in order to prevent as many unnecessary deaths as possible. Their ultimate aim is to see ta change in UK law to make it compulsory for all schools to have a defibrillator and to train staff in CPR.
